ested on the hillsides beneath the Vosges mountains, at an altitude of between 200 and 450 m, the vineyard of the Hubert KRICK winery gets to benefit from optimal sunshine. Its atypical geographic location encourages slow and prolonged maturation of the grapes to give the wine its quality aromas. Another particularity of the estate: the diversity of farmed terroirs is conducive to the blossoming of all Alsace grape varieties. The Hubert Krick winery offers its clients the entire range of Alsace wines.
This cuvée comes from a blend between two terroirs chosen because of their compatibility. One terroir is located on a hillslope with granite soil , which gives quality and complexity combined while the other terroir made up of marl and limestone, bordering the Hengst Grand Cru, will add complex aromas to the wine as well as a fleshy and voluptuous structure. The wise blend of 2 terroirs gives a very rich, elegant and balanced wine with a lasting mouth feel. This Pinot Gris “Terroirs” goes very elegantly with an aperitif, festive poultry like for example stuffed capon or roasted duckling with mushrooms, foie gras, fine fish in a creamy or spicy sauce.
