With its light yellow colouring, mineral nose, typical of Riesling, which comes from granite soils, this exceptional wine has citrus, acacia and white peach aromas producing a fine blend and a peppery finish. A beautiful consistency can be noted together with freshness and a smoked aspect, which is typical of the grapes on the Frankstein hillsides where the vines have been cultivated for many centuries now. Documents from 1292 indicate the Sainte-Agnès of Strasbourg convent owned vines on Frankenstein. This emblematic cuvée can accompany fish, seafood, shellfish, sushi but also white meat, choucroute and goat cheese.
