he Willy Gisselbrecht winery offers a rich variety of the greatest grapes in Alsace (Riesling, Gewurztraminer…), but also a large selection of Vendanges Tardives, Crémants and Frankstein Grands Crus. 900,000 bottles are produced on an annual basis.
With its light yellow colouring, mineral nose, typical of Riesling, which comes from granite soils, this exceptional wine has citrus, acacia and white peach aromas producing a fine blend and a peppery finish. A beautiful consistency can be noted together with freshness and a smoked aspect, which is typical of the grapes on the Frankstein hillsides where the vines have been cultivated for many centuries now. Documents from 1292 indicate the Sainte-Agnès of Strasbourg convent owned vines on Frankenstein. This emblematic cuvée can accompany fish, seafood, shellfish, sushi but also white meat, choucroute and goat cheese.
