Vins d'Alsace Kuehn SA
ounded in 1675, the Kuehn Ammerschwihr estate winery has an extraordinary viticultural heritage. The tradition of making fine Alsace wines at Kuehn, carried on down each successive line, is now being continued by their winemaker Francis Klee, guardian of quality and the unique character of the company’s wines. Live out the privileged experience in our wine cellar which dates right back to the the 17th century and with a stock of majestic oak barrels deep down inside.
Discover the flower of the estate and many more Alsace Grands Crus and Alsace wines that come from remarkable terroirs as well as a range of exceptional wine such as our Vendanges Tardives (late harvested wine) and Sélections Grains Nobles (fine selections of noble grapes), not forgetting our Alsace white and rosé crémant produced by using the traditional method of production.

Flagshipwine
The estate’s flagship has always been Grand Cru Kaefferkopf. It comes from blending Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris and it is one of the two rare exceptions in the family of Alsace Grands Crus, which means the blend can be made and labelled as Alsace Grand Cru. The geological nature of the soil, namely granite, makes it a perfect spot for Riesling.
