inegrowers from father to son, Maison Pettermann has existed since 1928. This human-scale estate now produces 500,000 bottles per year, mostly Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Vendanges Tardives (late harvest) wines.
This fine wine is sourced from granitic soils. The average vine age it’s selected from is 30 years. It has a superb clear golden yellow colour and shows a very enticing nose. It conjures up exotic fruit, floral, citrus and spice notes. Its plump, rich and complex palate shows huge potential. Gewurztraminer is the best-known variety in Alsace. This wine easily lives up to its reputation and expresses this amazing grape’s dominant fruity characteristics. It also has upfront flavours and good length.
