Maison Henri Ehrhart
he Ehrhart winery is a great family company and a beacon in Alsace, based in Ammerschwihr for seven generations. Managed by the last in the line of family members, Sophie and Cyrille Ehrhart, the winery is today one of the largest producers from Alsace vineyard. The wine range made is an elegant mix of traditional and modern. With high quality standards at the forefront, they’ve gained a great deal of recognition and awards.

Without a doubt the company’s icon wine due to its finesse and elegant aromas. Taken from grapes with an aroma obtained in the 19th century using the Traminer variety, this Gewurztraminer wine was born on one of the most reputed great vintage terroirs, the Kaefferkopf, which has been renowned for several centuries due to the quality of wine produced from grapes grown on the hillsides. This is the very image of Alsace, a fullbodied and rich wine, offering an exuberance of spicy flavour, with exotic fruits (litchi) and roses. It goes with well-seasoned dishes, strong cheeses like munster and is the ideal pairing with Asian dishes.
