he family estate at Eguisheim, one of the most beautiful villages in France, run by Philippe and his wife, Pascale, produces 3 complete ranges of wines which are regularly rewarded by the professionals, Portait, Terroir and Grand Crus, complemented by the Crémant and rosé Crémant. The entire estate has been cultivated using organic agriculture practices since the vintage year 2011.
Located in Gueberschwihr, the vine is entirely worked by hand, the calcareous sandstone and clay soil of the Goldert Grand Cru is dressed in golden yellow with sustained reflections of beautiful intensity. Fresh Citrus candied aromas mixed with notes of scrubland and violets. In the mouth, it offers a good balance between generosity, smoothness and persistence. It is wonderful to drink on its own as an aperitif, or with duck liver fried with spices, delicate and fine fish with soft spices, cheese with blue cheese and exotic fresh fruit gratin.
