Flagshipwine
The only Sylvaner in Alsace classifid as Grand Cru, this gem displays citrus and ripe fruits on the nose. This wine combines richness and finesse on the palate: powerful, full-bodied and rounded mouth-feel, balanced and lively on the finish. Sourced from high-density old vines (50 years of age), it comes from the single site of Zotzenberg found in the village of Mittelbergheim, facing southeast and made up of limestone, which retains moisture and hence is resistant to drought. Try with pan-fried foie gras, seafood, fish, poultry or soft cheeses even.
