ocated right in the village of Rodern, the Charles Salber & Successeurs winery has a large range of wines made from the 7 Alsace varieties: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris… The wine estate now sells 35,000 bottles per year.
After destemming, the grapes macerate for 10 to 15 days then take on a shine during 24 months in tanks. In the end, this gives a fleuron cuvée: the Pinot Noir Rodern. It’s part of the “Grandes Réserves Égrappées” range. This wine with blackberry aromas has a lovely ruby colour. You’ll discover its real Pinot Noir character after 5 years. Goes well with any food.
